I have a hate/like thing for Kyubey. It’s not really about the character itself that I like, just his design. I mean, geez isn’t he just the most adorable looking magical girl masco— OH GOD WHAT THE CRAP IS WRONG WITH THIS THING ASKFJL
But that can be said about the entire series more than Kyubey himself. The false sense of security is so thrilling, and I love how inhuman this thing is because he is… well, exactly that.
I simply like how seemingly sinister this creature is, and when you try to place yourself in his shoes it’s…a strange experience. Seeing life as it is without humanity- this is the norm for Kyubey. His utter confusion with the girls’ torment over their souls being toyed with is just so badass like damn, you don’t even give a shit when moe moe marshmallow-faced girls are bawling their eyes out in front of you, hell you don’t even let them at least cuddle you.
