Kazemaru, huh~ while I don’t have much interest for his character type, he certainly seems like a type of friend I would like to have.
The best example of Kazemaru’s kindness is when he offered to help out with Endou’s campaign to revive the soccer club. He had his own club to tend to, but came to appreciate Endou’s hard work so much that he was willing to give it his all for the soccer club. I mean sure, friends can easily do favours for each other once in a while, but Kazemaru does not do a half-assed job with it, and goes as far as taking shoots to the face for Endou.
As I mentioned in Sousuke’s post- I like characters that have evident flaws. While Kazemaru is certainly a reliable team member and friend, he also has his own weaknesses. I won’t go into too much detail with this because a lot of my friends have reflected upon his character in regards to the Dark Emperors ordeal in a much more coherent manner lol;; but yeah…just… he’s a hardworking guy, and shows a lot of selflessness and compassion towards others, which I really like.
